Airlines cautiously resume Dubai flights amid ongoing West Asia tensions

Flight operations to Dubai have begun to gradually resume as airlines take a measured approach amid continuing tensions in parts of West Asia.

Air India and Air India Express have restarted services to Dubai and are scheduled to operate a total of 48 flights to and from the region on March 19. This includes 16 scheduled flights and 32 additional non-scheduled services, aimed at addressing passenger demand and clearing travel backlogs.

IndiGo has also partially restored its operations, confirming that flights to and from Dubai resumed from 1600 hrs (local time) on March 18, following approval from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.

Despite the resumption, airlines continue to operate cautiously, with services to several other destinations in West Asia still suspended. Carriers are closely monitoring the situation and adjusting schedules based on evolving security and operational conditions.

Passengers have been advised to regularly check their flight status, as changes may occur depending on developments in the region.
