In a step towards modernising banking operations, Infosys and Citizens Financial Group have partnered to launch an AI Innovation Hub in Bengaluru.
The initiative aims to integrate artificial intelligence into everyday banking functions. It will focus on improving areas such as product development and customer support, making them faster and more efficient.
The hub will work on automating processes, strengthening security, and enabling faster decision-making using real-time data. Infosys will deploy its Topaz Fabric platform to connect systems seamlessly while ensuring security and compliance.
Michael Ruttledge said that placing advanced AI at the core of operations will help deliver modern, secure, and personalised banking experiences to customers.
Dennis Gada added that the initiative will support Citizens in adapting to rapid changes in the banking sector and evolving customer expectations.
The partnership reflects a growing trend of financial institutions adopting AI to improve efficiency and stay competitive in a fast-changing digital environment.
