Strengthening its executive leadership, GXO Logistics, Inc. has appointed Mark J. Suchinski as Chief Financial Officer. The company stated that with this appointment, its leadership team is now fully in place. Suchinski joins the organisation with extensive experience across finance leadership and operational management in large and publicly traded companies.
Before joining GXO Logistics, Mark J. Suchinski served as Senior Vice President and CFO at The GEO Group, Inc.. In this role, he was based in Florida and worked in an on-site capacity, leading the organisation’s financial strategy and operations.
Earlier in his career, he spent nearly 18 years with Spirit AeroSystems. During this long tenure, he held several senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities extended beyond finance, reflecting a broad leadership background within the organisation.
At Spirit AeroSystems, he also held key operational roles such as Vice President, Quality, and Vice President and General Manager – 787 Program. These positions provided him with experience in operational leadership and programme management, in addition to his financial responsibilities.
Before joining Spirit AeroSystems, Mark J. Suchinski worked with Home Products International as Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing accounting functions and financial reporting.
Earlier in his professional journey, he served as Controller at US Freightways. This role helped him build a strong foundation in financial management, controllership and corporate finance leadership.
With extensive experience across finance, operations and leadership roles, his appointment at GXO Logistics reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its financial leadership with executives who bring deep expertise from complex global organisations.
