Founded by IIT and IIM alumni, the Patna-based startup expands its farmer network and strengthens its position in India’s fast-growing agritech sector.
Indian agritech startup DeHaat has crossed the ₹3,000 crore revenue mark, reporting ₹3,041 crore in operating revenue for the financial year ending March 2025, according to regulatory filings.
The milestone reflects steady growth for the Patna-headquartered company, which has built a technology-driven platform aimed at simplifying how farmers access agricultural inputs, advisory services and markets.
Founded in 2012 by Shashank Kumar, Shyam Sundar Singh, Amrendra Singh, Adarsh Srivastava and Abhishek Dokania, the company set out to address long-standing inefficiencies in India’s agricultural supply chain.
Over the past decade, DeHaat has positioned itself as a full-stack agritech platform that integrates digital tools with a network of on-ground partners. Through this hybrid model, farmers can purchase seeds, fertilisers and crop protection products, receive agronomy advice and connect with buyers for their produce.
The company now works with more than 1.8 million farmers and operates over 11,000 rural service centres across multiple states, enabling farmers to access technology-driven services closer to their communities.
Agritech platforms such as DeHaat are part of a broader effort to modernise India’s agricultural ecosystem by improving supply chain efficiency and expanding market access for farmers.
