In a strong push towards technology-led administration, N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked officials to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all government departments to strengthen governance and improve efficiency. He said technology-driven systems are essential to deliver better public services.
During a review meeting at the camp office, the Chief Minister discussed Real-Time Governance (RTGS) and public perception. He directed officials to build a mechanism that combines data from drones, CCTV cameras, and satellites. The goal is to enable better monitoring and faster decision-making.
Naidu stressed the importance of regular field visits by officials to review performance and ensure that services reach people at the grassroots level. He also called for increased vigilance in view of recurring accidents and incidents reported across the state.
To prevent firecracker unit explosions, he advised officials to study safety practices followed in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, and implement similar safety measures in Andhra Pradesh.
With summer approaching, the Chief Minister instructed authorities to ensure adequate drinking water facilities at RTC bus stations so passengers do not face inconvenience. He said bus travel should be made comfortable from boarding to destination.
On welfare schemes, Naidu directed that pension distribution must take place without lapses. He asked officials to give special attention to “Swarnagramas” and “Swarnawards.” He clarified that surveys should be conducted only to collect additional information and not to repeatedly gather the same data, in order to avoid inconvenience to citizens and staff.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that WhatsApp-based “Mana Mitra” services have now been expanded to 953 categories. Naidu urged departments to increase public awareness so that more people can access and benefit from these digital services.
The review highlighted the government’s focus on AI-driven governance, improved safety standards, better public facilities, and expanded digital access to enhance citizen satisfaction.
