At Mobile World Congress 2026, Motorola expanded its premium smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Motorola Razr Fold and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. The Razr Fold marks the company’s first book-style foldable phone, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and backed by a 6,000mAh battery. It features an 8.1-inch inner LTPO pOLED 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 6,200 nits peak brightness, along with a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover screen offering 165Hz refresh rate and up to 6,000 nits brightness. The device is 4.7mm thin when open and 10.04mm when closed, weighing 243g.
The Motorola Razr Fold runs on Android 16-based My UX and supports dual SIM (physical SIM + eSIM). It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with Adreno A829 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. With RAM Boost, users can add 16GB virtual memory. Motorola promises up to 7 Android OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates. The triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also offers a 32-megapixel cover selfie camera and a 20-megapixel inner selfie shooter, with video recording up to 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps. The phone supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, Wi-Fi 7, 5G, NFC, multiple global navigation systems and has an IP49 rating. In Europe, it is priced at EUR 1,999 (roughly Rs.2,14,200) with Moto Pen Ultra and will roll out across Latin America, North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. A special FIFA World Cup 26 Collection edition features football-inspired design, 24K gold-plated accents and “26” typography.
Alongside it, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and a 5,200mAh battery with 68W charging. It sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED 1.5K display with 144Hz refresh rate and 5,200 nits peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device carries IP69 + IP68 ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with 122-degree field of view and a macro lens, along with a 32-megapixel front camera.
Pricing for the Edge 70 Fusion is yet to be announced. It will be available in select markets across Latin America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
