Paras Defence incorporates semiconductor arm, shares likely in focus

Investor attention is expected to turn to Paras Defence and Space Technologies on Monday, March 2, after the company announced the incorporation of a new semiconductor subsidiary.

In a regulatory filing dated Friday, the company said, “In continuation to our intimation dated January 19, 2026 and pursuant to SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (Listing Regulations), we are pleased to inform that a subsidiary company of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited (PARAS) in the name of “Paras Semiconductors Private Limited” (Subsidiary) has been incorporated on February 27, 2026.”

Paras Semiconductors Pvt Ltd has been incorporated in India to establish advanced heterogeneous packaging and 3D packaging OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing) capabilities. The subsidiary will focus on artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), networking and data center applications.

Paras Defence holds a 70% equity stake in the new subsidiary. The company subscribed to 70,000 equity shares of ₹10 each, aggregating ₹7 lakh. The entire initial share capital was subscribed in cash.

Earlier, in a separate filing dated February 20, the company announced the incorporation of another subsidiary, Paras Avionics Pvt Ltd. This aerospace and defence arm will work on systems and solutions for avionic applications, including manufacturing, testing, repair and overhauling systems for defence and aerospace platforms.

Paras Defence holds a 60% stake in Paras Avionics Pvt Ltd, subscribing to 6,000 equity shares of ₹10 each, aggregating ₹60,000. The full initial subscription was also made in cash.

On the financial front, the company reported a 21.3% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹18.2 crore in Q3FY26, compared to ₹15 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations grew 24% YoY to ₹106.4 crore, up from ₹85.8 crore in Q3FY25.

Shares of Paras Defence and Space Technologies ended 0.12% higher at ₹637.80 on the National Stock Exchange on Friday. The announcement was made after market hours.
