In her new role, she will lead the company’s global technology strategy and drive AI-led innovation and digital capabilities across markets.

Before this appointment, she served as Global Vice President – Digital Technology and Site Lead for the Global Capability Center (India) at Unilever. She strengthened enterprise architecture and built strong global technology foundations. She also led the India hub of the Global Capability Center, scaling digital transformation and boosting innovation across international markets.
During her tenure at Unilever, Reema held key roles such as IT Director – Digital Supply Chain and IT Director – ERP Application Management. She managed complex digital, cloud, and integration programs across multiple global markets. Her work helped modernize core systems and improve operational agility.
Prior to rejoining Unilever in a senior leadership role, Reema was Chief Information & Digital Officer at Hero MotoCorp. She led a large-scale digital transformation across research and development, supply chain, marketing, and customer platforms. She built capabilities in data science, digital engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, and martech. She also drove initiatives such as direct-to-customer platforms, customer apps, and financial aggregator solutions.
Earlier, Reema served as Chief Digital Officer at Vodafone Idea Limited, where she helped shift the company from a traditional telecom operator to a technology-driven enterprise. She focused on building digital platforms, improving customer engagement, and accelerating transformation programs.
Reema also brings over 13 years of experience at General Electric, handling leadership roles in ERP systems, operations, and enterprise technology transformation. She began her career at Mphasis as a software engineer, building a strong technical foundation for a career spanning over 20 years.
Her appointment highlights Unilever’s focus on digital capabilities, AI, and future-ready platforms to drive global growth and efficiency.
