Expanding its connected device portfolio, Reliance Jio has launched the JioEyeQ Dashcam with GPS in India. The device is designed primarily for cars and enters a fast-growing dashcam market where awareness around vehicle safety and insurance support is increasing.
The JioEyeQ Dashcam is priced at Rs 3,499. It is available on Amazon India. Buyers can choose to pay the full amount upfront or opt for a no-cost EMI plan of 3 months at Rs 1,166 per month.
Dashcams are becoming essential for vehicle owners as they record real-time activity around the car. These recordings can be useful during accidents and while filing insurance claims.
The JioEyeQ Dashcam comes with GPS support and a Full HD 2MP camera. It features a 140-degree ultra-wide field of view and supports AI Pedestrian Detection. The device includes 32GB microSD card storage and offers Night Vision support for low-light recording.
Additional safety features include emergency recording and collision detection, both designed to capture critical moments automatically. The dashcam also has built-in Wi-Fi and a microphone.
The device works with the JioThings app, which is available on Android and iOS platforms. Through the app, users can monitor recordings and manage device settings easily.
With competitive pricing and a strong feature set, the JioEyeQ Dashcam positions itself as an accessible option for car owners looking to enhance vehicle security, monitor activity, and protect insurance interests.
