Highlighting the growing role of innovation in bilateral relations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a technology exhibition in Israel showcasing advanced solutions across emerging sectors. The visit focused on strengthening collaboration in innovation, startups, and investment opportunities between the two nations.

PM Modi was accompanied by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the exhibition walk-through on Wednesday. In a social media post on Thursday, Modi said the exhibition showcased “special innovations” from the world of technology. “Got a glimpse of pioneering work by Israeli youth in areas such as AI, Quantum, healthcare, cyber security, water resources, agriculture and more. Urged Israeli companies to invest in India and work with our talented youth,” he said.

According to an official release, the exhibition featured leading Israeli companies and research organisations working in agri-tech, water-tech, climate-tech, health-biotech, smart mobility, AI, cybersecurity, and quantum technologies. The statement noted that innovation and technology cooperation remain a key pillar of India-Israel ties under the “India-Israel Innovation Bridge” initiative.

During the visit, PM Modi interacted with scientists, entrepreneurs, and company leaders, stating that the technologies displayed could significantly expand cooperation in agriculture, water management, healthcare, digital services, and startup ecosystems. He encouraged Israeli firms to invest, manufacture, and build long-term technology partnerships in India while collaborating with Indian youth to develop solutions for global challenges.

In quantum and deep tech, Quantum Machines presented work at the Israeli Quantum Computing Centre, while Classiq demonstrated quantum software development solutions. Health-tech innovations included AISAP’s AI-powered ultrasound system, and the Ministry of Science and Technology showcased “Tech Scout,” an AI-based risk detection tool.
