Emergent, the vibe coding platform focused on transforming ideas into monetisable software, has launched its mobile application, Emergent AI. The announcement comes as the company reaches $100 million in annual run rate (ARR) within just 8 months, after doubling revenue from $50 million to $100 million in only 1 month. The platform now supports more than 6 million builders across 190+ countries, who have collectively created over 7 million apps powering real businesses and workflows.
For years, long development cycles, expensive builds, and limited engineering talent acted as barriers to starting new ventures. With 91% of American adults owning a smartphone, the mobile launch aims to remove these limitations, enabling millions in the US and billions globally to build software directly from their phones.
The Emergent AI app allows users to move from idea to a fully functional application and publish directly to the App Store and Google Play. Founders can refine product logic while travelling, SMB owners can update workflows immediately after customer interactions, and consultants can turn live feedback into product features instantly.
“The best ideas rarely wait for you to be at your desk,” said Mukund Jha, Co-Founder and CEO of Emergent. “The need for new software building tools is clear, as evidenced by Emergent’s traction. We wanted to make sure creativity never stops. Now you can speak your idea into Emergent’s mobile app, and our AI turns it into a real, working app in minutes.”
During early access, more than 10,000 mobile apps were already built and shipped. The platform also introduces voice-based creation, allowing users to start projects by simply saying “Build me a mobile app that…”. It enables seamless editing between mobile and desktop while supporting production-ready websites, mobile tools, and SaaS platforms from day 1.
The launch follows the company’s $70 million Series B funding round, bringing total funding to $100 million from investors including Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, Y Combinator, and Google’s AI Futures Fund. The company says growing adoption reflects a wider shift where non-technical founders and business operators are increasingly building and monetising software independently.
Users can begin building by downloading the Emergent AI mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.
