In his new role, Rupane Sharma is responsible for driving the end-to-end HR strategy at Affle. His focus includes building high-performing teams, accelerating digital HR transformation, and strengthening a culture of innovation across the company’s global footprint. The appointment reflects Affle’s emphasis on scaling its talent and leadership capabilities in line with its growth plans.
Rupane joins Affle after a successful tenure as Vice President HR & Head COE–Talent Acquisition at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited. During this period, he led talent centers of excellence and played a key role in modernizing the organization’s applicant tracking and digital HR systems.
With over 15 years of experience, Rupane has built a strong reputation across the telecom, insurance, and ITES sectors. A significant phase of his career includes a nearly 7-year tenure at Bharti airtel, where he held multiple leadership roles. These included General Manager HR for the D2C space and Regional HR Head for Upper North India, where he managed large and diverse workforces.
Earlier in his career, Rupane laid a strong professional foundation at Infosys BPM. There, he handled global leadership hiring and was recognized in the top 1 percentile of high performers. His experience spans talent acquisition, performance management, and large-scale HR operations.
By combining deep domain expertise with hands-on leadership experience, Rupane now leads the global people roadmap at Affle, supporting the company’s continued evolution as a global technology player.
