At a time when enterprises are looking to cut development cycles and modernise systems faster, a new AI-led platform is aiming to simplify how software is built and deployed.
Hexaware has launched an open version of RapidX, its AI-powered enterprise development platform. The announcement includes native integration with Replit, which converts natural-language descriptions into secure, production-ready enterprise software. The move is focused on making enterprise software development faster and easier.
RapidX is designed to significantly reduce delivery timelines, cutting development cycles from weeks to days. The platform uses AI agents to manage the full software lifecycle, including requirement gathering, architecture design, testing, deployment, and modernisation of legacy systems. It operates securely within an organisation’s own AWS cloud environment, ensuring data privacy and control.
Key features of RapidX include code comprehension and natural-language coding, which help reduce manual effort for developers and simplify complex development tasks. By automating large parts of the process, the platform allows teams to focus more on outcomes rather than repetitive work.
RapidX has already been used across multiple industries. Teams have applied the platform for pharmaceutical simulations, application prototyping, and the modernisation of legacy systems. These early use cases highlight its ability to support both new development and transformation of existing technology stacks.
The launch has also drawn positive attention from the market. Following the announcement, Hexaware’s stock rose by more than 3%, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s AI-driven growth strategy.
With the open release of RapidX, Hexaware is positioning itself to help enterprises accelerate digital transformation while maintaining security, scalability, and development efficiency.
