Lava is set to expand its Bold series portfolio with the launch of a new smartphone in India this week. The Noida based company has confirmed that the Lava Bold N2 will debut on February 17 at 12pm local time. The launch announcement was shared on X with the tagline “Be Fearless, Be Bold”.
The Lava Bold N2 will be available exclusively through Amazon in India. A dedicated microsite for the handset is already live on the ecommerce platform, revealing key design details and colour options. The smartphone will be offered in at least grey and black variants. However, the company has not yet disclosed information about the display size, battery capacity, processor or pricing of the upcoming device.
In terms of design, the Lava Bold N2 features a flat rear panel with company branding placed at the bottom left. It comes with a flat metal frame and houses a dual rear camera setup inside a square shaped camera module. The company has confirmed that the phone will feature a 13 megapixel primary rear camera paired with an LED flash. The handset is also shown with a power button and volume controls on the right side. At the bottom, it includes a USB Type C port, a 3.5mm audio jack and a speaker grille.
The Lava Bold N2 will succeed the Lava Bold N1, which was launched in India in May 2025 at a starting price of Rs. 5,999. The Bold N1 was offered in Radiant Black and Sparkling Ivory colour options. It featured a 6.75 inch HD+ display with up to a 90Hz refresh rate and was powered by a Unisoc 9863A chipset along with a 5,000mAh battery. More details about the Bold N2 are expected to be revealed at launch.
