A senior leadership appointment is set to strengthen advisory depth as EY sharpens its focus on risk, governance, and enterprise resilience across key industries.
In his new role, Padmanabhan will focus on enhancing risk advisory, governance, and enterprise risk management capabilities, while supporting clients with strategic insights and strong control frameworks across critical sectors.
Before joining EY, Padmanabhan spent 5 years at KPMG Lower Gulf. During this period, he progressed from Assistant Manager to Associate Director and led multiple engagements across risk management and advisory functions.
Earlier in his career, he was associated with Protiviti Middle East Member Firm and Protiviti India Member Firm. In these roles, he delivered enterprise risk management, internal audit, and risk quantification assignments for clients across energy, aviation, manufacturing, and financial services sectors.
Padmanabhan began his professional journey with HDFC Realty and completed his articleship at Haren Sanghvi & Associates. This phase of his career helped him build a strong foundation in audit, taxation, and fraud investigation, shaping his approach to risk and compliance advisory.
With this appointment, EY aims to further strengthen its risk and governance practice by leveraging Padmanabhan’s cross-sector experience and deep understanding of enterprise risk frameworks.
