HP expands DeskJet lineup in India with 6 new All in One printers for home users

HP has introduced 6 new DeskJet All in One printers in India, aimed at students, families and professionals with everyday printing, scanning and copying needs. The new range includes models under the DeskJet, DeskJet Ink Advantage and DeskJet Ultra Ink Advantage series. These printers offer simple plug and play setup, dual band Wi Fi connectivity and self healing connectivity that automatically restores the connection if it drops. They also support wireless printing for convenient home use.

In terms of pricing, the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2986 and DeskJet Ink Advantage 2989 are priced at Rs. 6,999 each, while the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4388 is available at Rs. 7,999. These models can be purchased through HP World stores and the HP online store. The HP DeskJet Ultra Ink Advantage 5135, DeskJet Ultra Ink Advantage 5185 and the DeskJet 2931 will be available in India soon. All models come in a white base design with accent colour options including Very Peri, Surf Blue, Machu Picchu, Warm Aroma and Pimento.

The new HP DeskJet printers use HP Thermal Inkjet technology and support printing, scanning and copying. They offer manual duplex printing with driver support and feature a 60 sheet input tray. Each printer includes a flatbed CIS scanner with up to 1,200 dpi optical resolution and supports scan formats such as JPEG, PDF, PNG and TIFF. Connectivity options include built in dual band Wi Fi with 2.4GHz and 5GHz support, along with a USB 2.0 port. Mobile printing is supported through the HP app, Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Android print services. Print speeds reach up to 7.5 pages per minute in black and 5.5 pages per minute in colour on most models. All printers have a monthly duty cycle of up to 1,000 pages, use 2 cartridges and do not include fax support.

The HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2986 and 2989 are recommended for 50 to 100 pages per month, while the DeskJet Ink Advantage 4388 supports 100 to 300 pages per month and offers black print speeds of up to 8.5 pages per minute with an automatic document feeder for multi page tasks. These models are suitable for small teams of up to 3 users. The DeskJet Ultra Ink Advantage 5135 and 5185 support print resolutions of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi in black and 4,800 x 1,200 dpi in colour and come with setup ink cartridges. The DeskJet 2931 is the base model with a recommended volume of 50 to 100 pages per month and supports Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS Ventura, Sonoma and Sequoia.
