In her new role, Pooja will continue to support Wipro’s people strategy. Her focus areas include employee relations, strategic workforce planning, and leadership enablement. The promotion highlights Wipro’s commitment to nurturing internal leadership talent and ensuring continuity within its HR leadership structure.
Pooja has been with Wipro for nearly a decade. Most recently, she served as Associate Director – Human Resources from January 2024 to December 2025. Before that, she spent over 7 years as Human Resources Manager, where she led business-aligned HR initiatives, talent development programmes, and people operations across teams in Bengaluru.
Earlier in her career, Pooja worked with Cisco Systems (India) Private Limited as a Human Resource Specialist. This role gave her exposure to global HR practices and strengthened her experience in managing diverse workforce needs.
Pooja began her professional journey at Wipro as a Human Resources Executive. Her elevation to Director represents a full-circle progression built on deep organisational knowledge, consistent performance, and long-term commitment.
With this promotion, Wipro reinforces its focus on building strong HR leadership to drive employee engagement and business growth.
