Oppo is expanding its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Oppo K14x 5G, scheduled for today. The device marks the first model under the new Oppo K14 series and is positioned to strengthen the brand’s presence in the mid-range 5G segment.

Ahead of the launch, a dedicated microsite on an e-commerce platform has revealed key details about the phone, including its design, features, and availability. The handset will go on sale in India through Flipkart and the Oppo India online store. It will be offered in 2 colour options: Prism Violet and Ice Blue.

The Oppo K14x 5G is set to launch today at 12 pm local time. The company has not yet confirmed whether the launch will take place through a formal event or a soft announcement. If a full launch event is held, it is expected to be livestreamed on the company’s YouTube channel and social media platforms.

Oppo has not officially announced the price of the Oppo K14x 5G. However, a recent report suggests that the smartphone could be priced at around Rs. 15,000 in India. For reference, the Oppo K13x 5G was launched in June 2025 at a starting price of Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant.

In terms of specifications, the Oppo K14x 5G is confirmed to run Android 15-based ColorOS 15. It will feature a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 1,125 nits. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

For photography, the device will include a dual rear camera setup housed in a pill-shaped camera module. The camera system will be led by a 50-megapixel AI primary sensor.

The smartphone will pack a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Oppo claims the device can deliver up to 17.6 hours of YouTube video playback, up to 16.1 hours of Google Maps navigation, and up to 12.1 hours of WhatsApp video calling on a single charge. The handset will also feature an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
