Against the backdrop of rising demand for global delivery and specialised financial services, GI Outsourcing has opened a new global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, strengthening its presence in India.
The accounts outsourcing and knowledge process management firm has started operations at the new centre with a 50-member team. The company plans to add another 50 employees over the next year and further scale the workforce by an additional 100 by 2028.
“Our expansion into Hyderabad is about accessing the ecosystem of innovation and financial expertise,” said Tariq Husain, Group CEO, GI Outsourcing.
Located at the International Tech Park, the Hyderabad facility adds to the London-based firm’s existing operations in Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad. The centre has been designed as a delivery hub and will draw on Telangana’s growing pool of finance and accounting professionals to support GI Outsourcing’s global clients, according to the company.
“Enterprise leaders are looking for speed-to-market without compromising on quality or compliance. We partnered with GI Outsourcing in this transition, helping them set up their Al-first GCC” said C.V. Subramanyam, chairman and managing director, Covasant and Enablr.
Industry data highlights Hyderabad’s growing appeal as a GCC destination. According to a recent report by staffing firm Xpheno, the city attracted 40 per cent of all new GCCs set up in India over the last 3 years, compared to Bengaluru’s 33 per cent.
The latest expansion reflects the continued interest of global firms in leveraging India’s talent ecosystem, with Hyderabad emerging as a key hub for finance-led global capability centres.
