This appointment aims to strengthen the company’s global HR delivery and governance. Based in Hyderabad, Shiv will lead key Global Capability Center (GCC) functions covering HR operations, HCM applications, compliance governance and internal controls. In this role, Bose will focus on improving HR service reliability, process excellence, and technology-enabled people operations across the enterprise. He brings strong experience in global HR operations, HR technology, Workday-based service delivery, compliance, and large-scale HR transformation programs.
Before joining The Hartford, Bose spent over 5 years at Novartis in Hyderabad as Senior Manager – People Services and Technology Solutions. There, he led people services and HR technology for 14 full-scope big markets and 42 partial-scope countries, supporting large multi-country HR service models and driving HR technology execution at scale.
Earlier, Shiv worked at Accenture as General Manager for a short period, where he handled Interactive Technology Operations for the “Hire to Retire” employee lifecycle. This role strengthened his exposure to global HR service operations and technology-driven delivery models.
Prior to Accenture, Bose served at Cargill for nearly 1.5 years as HR Operations Lead – South Asia, based in Bengaluru. He managed captive HR operations across India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. He also acted as payroll owner for South Asian countries and led statutory and compliance responsibilities for Cargill India plants and business services.
Bose also spent over 8 years at Capgemini as Senior Manager – HR Services. There, he worked as HRO Engagement Leader for the hire-to-retire lifecycle, driving service performance, engagement governance, and operational excellence in shared services environments.
Earlier in his career, Bose worked with Aon Hewitt for nearly 7 years as HR Operations Manager in Gurugram. He managed hire-to-retire service delivery and transitions for large markets in the USA, building a strong base in global HR outsourcing and HR service delivery.
His appointment supports The Hartford’s focus on building stable, scalable, and high-performing HR operating models across multinational environments.
