Strengthening its focus on the global private markets space, the appointment of Amit Vij will lead the expansion of its Private Markets practice worldwide.
In his new role, Amit will be responsible for building and scaling the company’s private markets business across regions. His mandate includes driving strategic growth, deepening client relationships, and delivering technology-driven transformation for private equity and private markets firms.
Amit brings more than 2 decades of experience across private equity, infrastructure, BFS, and financial services. Over the years, he has held senior leadership roles at Tech Mahindra, Firstsource, ISG (Information Services Group), and WNS. His work includes setting up and scaling private markets practices in Europe, leading large global teams, and supporting sustained new business growth.
Amit has a strong record in creating market-focused practices and aligning technology solutions with business outcomes for investment and financial services clients. His background spans both consulting and services delivery, giving him broad exposure to client strategy, operations, and digital transformation.
Earlier in his career, Amit worked as an investment banking professional at Deutsche Bank. Before entering the corporate sector, he served for 13 years as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force. This combination of financial services expertise and military leadership brings a distinctive mix of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and execution capability to his current role.
