Realme is preparing to expand its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Realme P4 Power. The upcoming device has been teased on the company’s India website, offering a first look at its design ahead of the official launch.
The teaser images reveal the design of the Realme P4 Power and confirm that the company has collaborated with Pearl Academy to co-create the smartphone’s look. As part of this initiative, students from Pearl Academy worked closely with Realme’s design and product teams.
Through the collaboration, students were involved from early concepts and sketches to refined design ideas. This gave them direct exposure to the process of developing a mass-market smartphone and influenced the final design of the device.
“As a brand that started its journey from India to the globe, we see India as a design powerhouse, not just a market. We believe the hyper-local beauty born here, has the potential to become a globally beloved trend,” said Francis Wong, Chief Marketing Officer, realme India. “Our collaboration with Pearl Academy allowed us to work directly with young designers and understand how today’s generation views design, functionality, and self-expression.
Those perspectives have directly influenced the realme P4 Power, reaffirming our commitment to growing the most popular smartphone brand among the youth.”
According to the images shared, the Realme P4 Power features a slab-style design with rounded edges. It houses a dual rear camera setup placed within a rectangular camera module. The smartphone will be available in 3 colour options: TransSilver, TransOrange, and TransBlue.
Realme has also confirmed that the P4 Power will run on the latest Realme UI 7.0. The updated interface will bring newly shaped icons and a misty glass control centre. The company added that the smartphone will receive 3 years of operating system updates and 4 years of security patches.
While Realme has not yet announced the official launch date, the Realme P4 Power is expected to launch in India later this month.
