Google has expanded access to its AI-powered video creation tool, Flow, to users on Business, Enterprise, and Education Workspace plans. The move follows the tool’s initial launch in May last year, when access was limited to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers.
With this update, Workspace users across business and education segments can now create videos using text prompts or images. The expansion is expected to help teams and institutions adopt AI-driven video creation for communication, learning, and creative needs.
Flow uses Google’s AI video generation model, Veo 3.1, to produce 8-second video clips from written prompts or images. Users can combine multiple clips to build longer scenes. The platform also offers tools to adjust lighting, change camera angles, and add or remove objects within scenes, giving users greater creative control.
Google has continued to enhance Flow’s capabilities since its launch. The company recently added support for vertical video, improving the experience for users creating content for mobile-first platforms.
Audio features were introduced last year, allowing users to generate sound using reference images, create smooth transitions between scenes, or extend existing clips. These additions enable more complete and immersive video outputs.
Flow has also been integrated with Google’s AI-powered image generator, Nano Banana Pro. The feature helps users create characters or generate starting visuals for clips, making it easier to build videos from scratch.
With expanded access and regular feature updates, Flow is positioned as a flexible AI video tool for businesses, enterprises, and educational institutions looking to simplify video creation through artificial intelligence.
