Lava has officially confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming smartphone, the Lava Blaze Duo 3. The device will debut on January 19. Ahead of the launch, teaser images and an online listing have revealed its design, colour options and key features.
A post on X shared a teaser image of the phone in an off white colour with a matte finish. The back panel appears flat with softly rounded edges and a slim profile. An earlier teaser had shown the handset in a black shade. The design looks similar to the Lava Blaze Duo 5G, featuring a rear mounted secondary display that is slightly smaller than the one seen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro series.
The rear panel houses a rectangular black camera module at the top left. It includes two large circular camera lenses placed vertically. Next to the lenses is a small rectangular secondary display, which is expected to show notifications, allow music control, enable rear camera selfies and offer quick app access. An elliptical LED flash is also placed within the same module.
An engraving on the camera panel confirms that the Lava Blaze Duo 3 will feature an AI supported 50 megapixel primary camera. The Lava branding appears vertically near the bottom, along with a small 5G marking.
An Amazon listing has revealed further details. The phone will run Android 15 and feature a 6.6 inch Full HD plus AMOLED display with up to 1000 nits of peak brightness. It will also include a 1.6 inch secondary rear screen. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of cameras, the phone will carry a 50 megapixel Sony IMX752 rear sensor with an f one point eight aperture and an 8 megapixel front camera. It will pack a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Other features include stereo speakers, an IR blaster and an in display fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS and Galileo. The phone measures 7.55mm in thickness, weighs 181 grams and comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
