In his new role, Rakesh Khetan will be responsible for shaping and executing DB Corp’s overall IT strategy. His focus areas include strengthening digital platforms, enabling data-driven decision-making, enhancing cybersecurity, and building a scalable and resilient technology infrastructure. He will also lead efforts to improve technology governance and support modernisation across the company’s publishing, digital media, and business functions.
Khetan brings extensive IT leadership experience across multiple industries, including media, agri-business, manufacturing, and large enterprise environments. Before joining DB Corp, he served as Head of Information Technology at Abis Foods and Proteins Private Limited and ABIS Exports India Private Limited under the IB Group, where he led technology-driven initiatives across agri, exports, and food businesses.
Earlier in his career, Khetan held senior IT leadership roles at AWL Agri Business Limited, Olam, Tata Motors, Subros Limited, and Minosha Print Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Across these organisations, he built strong expertise in ERP and SAP ecosystems, IT governance, business intelligence, and large-scale digital transformation.
DB Corp said the appointment underlines its commitment to using technology as a key driver of operational efficiency, digital innovation, and long-term growth, especially as media consumption continues to shift rapidly toward digital platforms.
