Realme is set to expand its audio portfolio in India with the launch of its clip-style Buds Clip earbuds by the end of January. The company said the upcoming earbuds move away from traditional in-ear designs and instead feature a clip-on form factor that rests on the outer ear. The Buds Clip was unveiled globally in November and is already available in select international markets.
What to expect from Realme Buds Clip
According to Realme, the Buds Clip uses an open-ear, clip-style design that does not seal the ear canal. The company said this approach helps reduce pressure compared to standard in-ear earbuds. The open fit also allows users to remain aware of their surroundings while listening to music, attending calls, or consuming content. Realme noted that the earbuds are designed for users who want situational awareness during daily commutes, long working hours, or light physical activities.
Based on the global variant launched in November, the Realme Buds Clip is expected to feature 11mm drivers and support Spatial Audio. The earbuds could deliver up to 36 hours of total battery life when used with the charging case. For calling, the device may include AI-powered environmental noise cancellation supported by a dual-microphone setup. The global model also comes with a built-in AI Translator that supports multiple languages.
In terms of connectivity, the Realme Buds Clip is likely to support Bluetooth 5.4 along with Swift Pair and dual-device connectivity. Similar to the global version, the India variant is expected to carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. The earbuds could be offered in 2 colour options: Titanium Black and Titanium Gold.
Expected specifications
The Realme Buds Clip is expected to feature a clip-style, open-ear design with 11mm dual-magnet drivers. It may support Spatial Audio with a volume limit of up to 85dB. Calling features could include dual microphones with AI-powered noise cancellation. The earbuds may offer up to 36 hours of total battery life, low-latency mode with up to 45ms response, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and an in-built AI Translator with multi-language support.
