In a move aimed at reinforcing digital security across its platforms, the National Skill Development Corporation has appointed Devendra Pareek as its new Chief Information Security Officer.
In his new role, Pareek will oversee NSDC’s enterprise-wide information security strategy, cyber risk management, and governance initiatives. He will also focus on strengthening digital resilience and improving regulatory compliance as NSDC continues to expand its digital skilling ecosystem.
Before joining NSDC, Pareek served as Chief Information Security Officer at Clix Capital. There, he led cybersecurity programs supporting NBFC operations within a tightly regulated financial environment. His work focused on building secure systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Earlier in his career, Pareek held senior leadership roles at AU Small Finance Bank and Kogta Financial (India) Limited. Across these positions, he was responsible for regulatory compliance, IT audits, infrastructure upgrades, and end-to-end cyber risk mitigation initiatives.
With professional experience spanning over 2 decades, Pareek brings strong expertise in BFSI security, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), and large-scale network security transformations. His background also includes key technical and consulting roles at global technology firms such as IBM, ANB Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Dimension Data, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
At NSDC, his appointment is expected to play a critical role in securing digital skilling platforms and building stronger trust across India’s growing skill development ecosystem. As digital adoption accelerates, the organisation is placing increased emphasis on protecting data, systems, and stakeholders from evolving cyber threats.
Pareek’s leadership is set to support NSDC’s long-term vision of safe, reliable, and compliant digital infrastructure for skill development initiatives nationwide.
