Google Pixel 10a launch timeline, colours and storage options tipped

The Google Pixel 10a is said to be in development as the next model in the company’s affordable smartphone lineup, following the Pixel 9a. While Google has not officially confirmed the device, a new leak has revealed possible details about its launch window, colour options, and storage variants. The phone is expected to come in four colour choices and two storage configurations. It may also feature a 6.3 inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a dual rear camera setup, and a 5100mAh battery.

In a post on Bluesky, tipster Roland Quandt claimed that the Pixel 10a could reach stores around mid February. If this timeline is accurate, the phone will arrive almost a month earlier than the Pixel 9a, which launched in March 2025.

The Pixel 10a is said to be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. It is tipped to launch in four colours named Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender. For reference, the Pixel 9a was offered in Iris, Peony, Porcelain, and Obsidian, with the same storage variants.

The Pixel 10a has also reportedly cleared a certification process with a major carrier. It is rumoured to feature a 6.3 inch Full HD plus AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 2000 nits and a variable refresh rate between 60Hz and 120Hz.

On the camera front, the phone is expected to include a 48 megapixel main rear camera and a 13 megapixel ultra wide lens. A 13 megapixel front camera is also likely. The device may ship with 8GB of RAM and a 5100mAh battery.

The Pixel 10a is said to run on Google’s in house Tensor G4 chipset. It is also expected to receive up to seven years of software updates. Pricing is rumoured to start at 499 dollars, which is roughly 44000 rupees, for the 128GB version.
