Designed to be practical rather than flashy, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 builds on its predecessor with a clearer focus on everyday usability, long battery life, and a refined software experience. After extended use at home and on the move, the tablet stands out as a dependable option for entertainment and light productivity in its price segment.
The Pad Go 2 features a large 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution of 2800×1980 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Scrolling feels smooth, visuals are sharp, and the screen works well for streaming, reading, and split-screen multitasking. With peak brightness reaching around 900 nits, indoor visibility remains strong even near windows. The 7:5 aspect ratio supports both landscape viewing and portrait reading, while slim bezels and a solid build keep the tablet comfortable to use.
While the LCD panel cannot match the deep contrast of AMOLED screens, it performs well for its category and remains one of the tablet’s key strengths.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, paired with 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. Day-to-day performance is smooth and reliable. Apps open quickly, multitasking works without lag, and split-screen use feels natural. Gaming is best suited for casual and moderately demanding titles, as this is not a flagship-level processor.
Battery life is a major highlight. The 10,050 mAh battery comfortably delivers more than 1.5 days of use, often nearing 2 days with lighter workloads. Charging is handled by 33W wired fast charging, with 6.5W reverse wired charging available for accessories.
The tablet runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, offering a clean interface and useful multitasking features like Open Canvas. OnePlus has also committed to multi-year software updates, adding long-term value. An optional stylus with 4,096 pressure levels is available separately for note-taking and creative use.
With a strong display, excellent endurance, stable performance, and clean software, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is a well-rounded mid-range tablet for students, professionals, and media consumers in India.
