Ola Electric vehicles are set to see faster turnaround times as the company expands its Hyperservice initiative across key locations. The electric vehicle maker has announced the launch of dedicated Hyperservice Centres that will offer same day service to eligible customers at no additional cost.
As part of this plan, Ola Electric will gradually convert its existing service facilities into Hyperservice Centres, starting with Bengaluru. The first centre under this initiative is now operational in Indiranagar, as disclosed in a filing to the stock exchange.
Ola Electric stated that these centres are designed to significantly reduce service time. Customers will be able to get their vehicles serviced within the same day without paying extra, with the entire process managed through a fully digital system.
“With Hyperservice Centres, we are setting a new benchmark – same-day service guarantee. At no extra cost for any customer. This is about using technology, process redesign and scale to remove friction and give every Ola customer a faster, simpler and more transparent service experience,” an Ola spokesperson said.
According to the filing, the new Hyperservice Centres will feature dedicated customer lounges, free Wi Fi, and real time digital tracking of each stage of vehicle servicing. These additions aim to improve transparency and comfort for customers during the service process.
Ola Electric also said that it plans to upgrade select service centres to the Hyperservice format across India in the coming weeks. This move is part of a wider infrastructure upgrade to strengthen after sales support.
The expansion comes as the company works to improve its service performance and clear pending backlogs. Ola Electric’s service network has faced increased pressure since scooter deliveries rose sharply in 2023, resulting in longer wait times and inconsistent spare parts availability. Recently, the company also deployed a 250 member rapid response team across India to address after sales issues and stabilise customer support, according to a news agency.
