Care ADHD launches first India GCC to strengthen global digital mental health operations

A major step in Care ADHD’s global expansion has been marked with the opening of its first Global Capability Centre in India.

The United Kingdom based digital mental health company, which works closely with the national health system, has set up the new centre in Bangalore. The facility was inaugurated by the British Deputy High Commissioner to Karnataka and Kerala, who also serves as the Deputy Trade Commissioner to South Asia for investment.

The new centre is designed to tap into India’s strong pool of product and engineering talent as Care ADHD scales its international operations. The Bangalore GCC will support faster technology development, strengthen operational systems, and provide backend support for its virtual care platform, Duty Doctor.

Commenting on the launch, Care ADHD Chief Executive Officer Mark Pattison said “Bangalore has emerged as one of the most vibrant technology innovation hubs globally, and the company’s decision to build its GCC in the city reflects its commitment to accessing top tier talent. He noted that the Bangalore team will play a central role in advancing the company’s digital platforms and scaling capabilities for global markets.”

Chief Technology Officer James Whitebread said “the GCC will focus on next generation diagnostic tools, intelligent patient engagement systems, and seamless integrations for virtual consultation services. The new centre will act as the nucleus for tech driven product development across the organisation.”

Care ADHD currently supports thousands of patients across the UK through evidence based care delivered via advanced digital platforms. The Bangalore expansion underlines the company’s focus on building scalable technology led solutions to meet rising global demand for quality mental health services.

Chandru Iyer, His Majesty’s Deputy Trade Commissioner to South Asia Investment and British Deputy High Commissioner to Karnataka and Kerala, welcomed the move and said “It is encouraging to see UK healthcare organisations expanding in India and inspiring to witness how UK India collaboration is strengthening the mental health ecosystem, especially through digital first solutions. I wish the CARE ADHD team every success in their mission to provide accessible, affordable, and reliable mental healthcare, working closely with leading Indian mental health professionals.”

The new GCC is expected to enhance collaboration between clinicians, product teams, and engineers, helping Care ADHD improve accuracy, elevate patient experience, and accelerate innovation across its digital platforms.
