His background covers network security, enterprise risk management, security architecture design, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining the bank, Samarjit served at Jio Platforms Limited where he led Network Solutions and Security Architecture. In this role, he delivered large scale security design initiatives and frameworks for complex digital ecosystems. His earlier assignments further strengthened his expertise in information security operations and governance across varied environments.
With strong foundations in defense grade cybersecurity from his time in the Indian Air Force and hands on experience across BFSI and telecom sectors, Samarjit brings a rare mix of strategic thinking and operational depth. His career reflects a consistent focus on building secure, resilient, and compliant technology environments.
