Tenable Holdings Inc. confirmed the appointment of Vlad Korsunsky as its new Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director of Tenable Israel. He will report to co CEO Steve Vintz and will be based at the company’s Israel Innovation Center in Tel Aviv. The company is currently trading close to its 52 week low and has a market capitalisation of $3.11 billion.
Korsunsky joins Tenable after spending over 10 years at a global technology company, where he most recently served as Corporate Vice President of Cloud and Enterprise Security. In that role, he led multi cloud security, enterprise AI security and exposure management businesses.
In his new role, Korsunsky will be responsible for shaping Tenable’s technical vision, platform strategy and innovation agenda. His focus areas include scaling the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform and driving the company’s AI strategy to meet growing market demand.
“As we boldly advance our exposure management vision, he is exactly the leader we need to accelerate our platform leadership, especially with rising demand for AI risk management,” said Vintz.
Korsunsky brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in software engineering and cybersecurity. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Bar Ilan University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Reichman University.
Tenable positions itself as an exposure management company that helps organisations identify and close cybersecurity gaps. It currently serves around 44,000 customers worldwide.
Despite a challenging year in the markets, with the stock down more than 33% year to date, the company continues to report strong fundamentals. Tenable has maintained gross profit margins close to 78% and recorded revenue growth of 11% over the last 12 months.
Industry analysts note that the appointment signals Tenable’s intent to deepen its focus on AI driven security and long term platform leadership.
