This marks an important step in her leadership journey within the organisation. In her new position, Connie will guide the people strategy across Latin America, the United States and Europe. Her work will support Ripio’s mission to expand blockchain based financial solutions and promote digital financial inclusion.
Connie most recently served as Head of People at Ripio. She led people development, organisational culture and strategic human resources initiatives for about two years. Her focus was on improving employee experience, building leadership capability and strengthening practices for a fast growing fintech and crypto environment.
Before joining Ripio, she worked as HR Director for Latin America and the United States at Reserve. She led cross regional human resources strategy, remote first culture building and capability development. During this time, she also contributed to academia as Profesora Adjunta People Experience with Universidad del CEMA, supporting executive education programmes with her industry expertise.
Earlier in her career, Connie held senior people leadership roles in several global technology and digital companies. She served as Head of People and Talent for Latin America and the United States at Altoros and as Head of People and Talent for Latin America and EMEA at Protofire.
Connie managed remote first teams, supported organisational growth and strengthened talent systems across blockchain and technology sectors. She also worked as Head of People and Culture for Latin America at Kids Corp, where she shaped regional culture and people systems for a leading digital kids marketing technology company.
Her early foundation was built at IMS Internet Media Services under Aleph Group Inc. She spent more than five years there and advanced through key human resources roles. These included HRBP Manager for Brazil, Chile, Mexico and EMEA, Regional Total Rewards Supervisor and Senior Payroll Specialist for Latin America and the United States.
Connie began her career as an HR Analyst at Gestion Compartida and later worked as a Payroll Specialist at TeleTech. These roles helped her gain strong experience in payroll, compensation, human resources operations and regional labour practices across the Americas.
