In this position, Ashish will lead end to end hiring strategy and execution for all manufacturing locations and research and technology clusters across India. His mandate covers diverse talent segments including refining, petrochemicals, polyester, research and development and technical functions.
Before moving into this role, Ashish served as Vice President and Head Rewards for the hydrocarbons business at Reliance Industries Limited. He led the Rewards Center of Excellence and supported multiple business groups through competitive and scalable compensation practices designed for future readiness.
Prior to that, he worked as Vice President Human Resources in the office of the CHRO, contributing to major HR strategies and transformation programs across the organisation. Earlier, as Head HR for the Hoshiarpur Manufacturing Division, he oversaw HR operations for a workforce of more than nine hundred employees. His work focused on capability development, improving employee experience and strengthening organisational effectiveness.
Ashish has also served as Head Talent Acquisition for reliability, engineering and maintenance functions. In this role, he directed hiring strategies for key engineering and manufacturing domains that are critical to operational success. His earlier responsibilities include roles such as Head HR, IR and Administration and Lead for Global Mobility, Expatriate and Leadership Compensation. These positions allowed him to support global mobility frameworks and governance structures for leadership compensation.
Ashish began his journey at Reliance as a Maintenance Manager, working across sites in Gujarat and Maharashtra before transitioning into HR and talent leadership roles. This experience laid a strong foundation for his comprehensive career in talent strategy.
