Zoho One reports strong customer growth as demand for unified business platforms rises

India is emerging as a major growth market for Zoho One, the all in one business software suite from SaaS provider Zoho. The company has recorded a thirty nine percent year on year increase in customers in FY25 and expects this pace to continue in the coming years.

Hariharan Muralimanohar, Global Head of Marketing for Zoho One, said that since its introduction in 2017, the India business has grown at a CAGR of twenty seven percent. He added that this year’s momentum shows stronger adoption among Indian businesses. “The boost in growth this year is an encouraging sign, as it indicates that India is lapping up Zoho One much more than before and the momentum is going up,” he said.

According to Muralimanohar, the key factor driving this rise is the increasing need for a unified and platform based software solution. He explained that customers now look beyond basic integration and prefer applications that function as one complete system. “Ultimately what customers value is unification. Not just plain integration, but unification of the applications as one system out of the box that is already contextually integrated, such that it works together across business functions from sales, marketing, HR and finance,” he said.

He also noted that Zoho’s focus on security, privacy and affordable pricing has strengthened Zoho One’s position in the Indian market. Globally, Zoho One offers around fifty applications to more than seventy five thousand customers, with each business using an average of over twenty two apps. Indian businesses make up ten to eleven percent of this base. Among the most used products in India are Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics and Zoho Books.

Muralimanohar shared that almost all Zoho One customers in India are large enterprises, while small and mid sized businesses adopting the suite are mostly from markets like the United States. He said this pattern reflects the level of trust Indian enterprises place in Zoho One and that the company plans to use these learnings to expand its global enterprise reach.

He also highlighted the difference in adoption behaviour. Enterprises usually begin with a single product and then expand to the full suite over three to four years. Smaller businesses, he said, often choose Zoho One early in their growth journey.

Zoho One is currently used across more than thirty industry sectors in India, with the highest adoption in IT services, manufacturing and banking and financial services.

The platform has recently added new capabilities across three areas intelligence, user experience and integrations. Zoho is using its AI assistant Zia to pull and contextualise data from multiple sources. The user experience update includes the launch of Spaces for personal and organisational use. A centralised panel for managing integrations has also been introduced. Additionally, Zoho One now includes Vani, a visual first intelligent virtual space.
