Zigment Uses Agentic AI to Help Businesses Convert Leads Into Sales

Bengaluru-based startup Zigment is redefining customer engagement with its advanced agentic AI that not only chats but also sells, follows up, and remembers previous interactions across platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, calls, emails, and websites.

Founded in 2023 by Dikshant Dave and Karma Pandya, Zigment was born out of a real business challenge. At his previous venture, One Balance, Dave noticed that users spent time filling out long wellness forms but rarely completed purchases. When he personally followed up with customers, eight out of ten made a purchase. “My conviction as a founder made the difference,” he says. That learning laid the foundation for Zigment.

Zigment helps businesses improve conversions through intelligent voice and chat agents that do more than just respond. The core of the platform is its Conversation Graph, a timeline that stores every click, message, and call, allowing businesses to search and recall specific customer interactions instantly. It tracks user mood and intent, identifies hesitation, and takes relevant next steps like sharing brochures or booking demos.

Dave, the CEO, leads operations while Pandya, the CTO, drives technology. Zigment aims to solve three key challenges: fragmented engagement, manual workflows, and scattered customer data. In today’s world, customers interact across multiple channels, but most companies treat each interaction separately. “You message a brand on Instagram, then visit their site, and it’s like starting from scratch,” says Dave.

Zigment’s omnichannel AI agents automate workflows like lead qualification, follow-ups, and CRM updates. These agents are designed to behave like experienced salespeople, pushing conversations forward and taking action where needed.

The company uses a multi-agent system, where each AI agent has a defined task but works in sync with others. For instance, if a lead goes inactive in the CRM, another agent might send a WhatsApp reminder. Zigment selects the best large language models for each task, using options like OpenAI for conversations, Claude for document analysis, and LLaMA for other tasks. “We test which model works best and plug it in,” says Dave. The system is modular and flexible, ensuring Zigment is never tied to a single AI provider.
