In his new role, Sachdeva is leading procurement as a strategic growth lever, focusing on improving unit economics and building operational resilience. He oversees high impact negotiations and strategic partnerships across supply chain, logistics, technical procurement, and marketing procurement. His mandate includes creating scalable sourcing and contracting frameworks that support speed, reliability, and long term sustainability.
Working closely with business, product, and operations teams, Sachdeva is driving initiatives such as vendor consolidation, performance linked contracts, and risk balanced long term partnerships. These efforts are aimed at enabling faster execution while supporting Zepto’s rapid expansion in the quick commerce space.
Before joining Zepto, Sachdeva spent nearly 6 years at PhonePe. He most recently served as Group Head for Strategic Sourcing, where he led procurement across marketing, IT capital and operating expenditure, facilities, human resources, and call centers.
His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at Flipkart, where he headed commercials and services procurement. He also spent a significant part of his career at Bharti Airtel, managing pan India services procurement along with insurance portfolios.
Sachdeva brings experience across e-commerce, fintech, telecom, and technology driven organisations. He holds academic credentials from INSEAD and IIM Bangalore and is known for transforming procurement from a support function into a value creating strategic capability.
With this appointment, Zepto is reinforcing its focus on building strong procurement foundations to support scale, efficiency, and long term growth in a highly competitive market.
