YouTube Create expands to iOS with AI powered video editing tools

Creators now have more options to edit videos on the go as YouTube Create has officially launched on iOS, following its earlier debut on Android. With this expansion, the app is now available to both Android and iOS users across the country.

The iPhone version introduces artificial intelligence powered tools that allow users to create and edit videos directly from their phones. Creators can start with a Short video of up to 40 seconds and use built in AI features to remove background noise, add captions automatically, and adjust video speed in real time.

Key features of YouTube Create

The YouTube Create app offers a wide range of editing tools, including trimming, cropping, splitting clips, rotating frames, changing playback speed, and managing audio levels. These tools help creators quickly improve raw footage and prepare videos for upload without needing external editing apps.

To enhance visuals, the app includes several filters, transition effects, and options such as blur, multiply, and night vision. Users can also adjust brightness, contrast, opacity, and other visual settings to maintain a consistent and polished look across scenes.

Audio tools are another highlight of the app. YouTube Create allows users to control volume levels and includes an Audio Cleanup feature that removes background noise to improve voice clarity. The app also supports AI voiceovers and can generate images and videos from text prompts, which can be useful when original footage is limited.

Creators can choose from thousands of royalty free songs and sound effects to set the tone of their videos. YouTube has confirmed that using this music will not result in copyright strikes. The app also provides access to multiple templates and Google Veo 3 for video creation. All features in the app are available at no cost.
