WSFS Bank Appoints Allan Matyger as New Chief Information Officer

In a strategic move to enhance its technological direction, WSFS Bank, a key subsidiary of WSFS Financial Corporation, has announced the promotion of Allan Matyger to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). Matyger, who previously held the role of Interim CIO, now takes on the permanent responsibility of overseeing the bank’s technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives. This appointment comes as the $2.97 billion market cap bank continues to strengthen its technological infrastructure while positioning itself for future growth.

In his new capacity, Matyger will be tasked with aligning the bank’s IT strategy with its business objectives, driving IT investments, and leading digital projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer experience.

Arthur Bacci, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at WSFS, expressed great confidence in Matyger’s leadership. “Allan has a remarkable track record of delivering excellent outcomes for clients and associates alike,” Bacci said. He particularly highlighted Matyger’s success as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Cash Connect, WSFS Bank’s division specializing in ATM cash management and logistics solutions.

With a career spanning nearly 25 years at WSFS, Matyger has consistently taken on more responsibilities and has been instrumental in driving operational excellence at Cash Connect. His leadership has played a crucial role in formulating effective strategies to enhance the bank’s technological and operational capabilities.

Matyger himself expressed excitement about his new role, underscoring his commitment to improving both client and stakeholder experiences within the rapidly evolving digital landscape. As part of his new position, he will also join the Executive Leadership Team and report directly to Bacci.
