Worldline Appoints Pierre-Antoine Vacheron as New CEO

Worldline has announced the appointment of Pierre-Antoine Vacheron as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 1, 2025. Vacheron, a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in the global payments, retail, and banking sectors, will take over the role with a strong track record of transformational leadership.

Vacheron has an extensive background in the payments industry, having served as CEO of the Payments division at Group BPCE and CEO of Natixis Payments. Prior to these roles, he was at the helm of Ingenico Group’s Global Merchant Services and Acquiring division, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s shift from a hardware-focused payment processor to a leading payment services provider.

Wilfried Verstraete, Chairman of Worldline’s Board, expressed his confidence in Vacheron’s leadership abilities. “Pierre-Antoine is a strategic executive with profound industry expertise. His in-depth understanding of global markets, combined with his ability to succeed in challenging environments, makes him the ideal choice to lead Worldline,” said Verstraete. “His passion for technology, commitment to transformation, and focus on performance will be key in strengthening Worldline’s position as a leader in payment technology and driving sustainable value.”

Vacheron’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Worldline as the company looks to strengthen its global position and continue innovating within the payment technology industry.
