Wobble set to launch its first made in India smartphone

Bengaluru based consumer technology brand Wobble is preparing to launch its first smartphone on 19 November. The company says the device will be a premium smartphone that is fully designed and manufactured in India.

Teaser visuals released by the brand show a slim handset with flat sides, a large rear camera module and neatly fitted power and volume keys. Industry sources suggest the smartphone will be called Wobble 1. It has already appeared in IMEI and Geekbench listings with the model number WB25SPMTA15P2, offering an early view of its features.

Reports indicate that the Wobble 1 may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G processor. It is expected to include 8 GB RAM and run on the Android 15 operating system.

Anand Dubey, CEO of the parent company Indkal Technologies, said the smartphone launch is “a celebration of India’s design, innovation, and creative spirit”. He added that the phone is aimed at young users who “create, express, and live unapologetically”.

Wobble plans to take this smartphone to several international markets by the end of the 2025 to 2026 financial year. The launch marks a major step as the brand expands its presence beyond its existing lineup of displays and smart televisions. The company recently introduced the Wobble Maximus, which is described as the largest television in India with a 116.5 inch screen.

The upcoming Wobble 1 is expected to strengthen the company’s commitment to local manufacturing and contribute to the growing momentum in India’s premium smartphone segment.
