The role is based in Dubai, with Jayaraman expected to relocate once the current situation eases. The move reflects Wipro’s focus on expanding its presence across key international markets.
Jayaraman brings over 20 years of experience across technology services, infrastructure, consulting, outsourcing, and business development. Prior to this, he was with HCLTech, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Area, after earlier serving as Vice President.
He had previously spent a significant part of his career at Wipro, where he served as General Manager and Business Head for Continental Europe. In that role, he built operations from the ground up, scaling teams across sales, presales, and delivery, and helping acquire 38 customers over a 6-year period in Cloud and Infrastructure Services. He was also recognized with the Best People Manager award at Wipro in 2018.
Earlier at Wipro Technologies, he held roles including Practice Director in London and Lead Consultant in the Strategic Outsourcing Group in Bengaluru, contributing to large infrastructure and business process outsourcing engagements across the UK and Europe.
Before that, Jayaraman worked with Infosys Technologies in consulting roles across London and Bengaluru, focusing on large bid management in infrastructure services. He also held positions at HP as Sales Specialist for Technology Solutions and at HCL Comnet as Regional Sales Manager, building a strong foundation in enterprise sales.
With experience across Wipro, HCLTech, Infosys, HP, and HCL Comnet, Jayaraman brings deep expertise in scaling global teams, entering new markets, managing strategic client relationships, and driving business growth.
His return to Wipro in a senior leadership role is expected to support the company’s growth strategy and strengthen its focus on customer transformation in the APMEA region.
