WaveX opens applications for startups to showcase at India AI Impact Summit 2026

The government backed startup accelerator platform WaveX has opened applications for startups to participate in the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to be held next month in the national capital. The announcement highlights a major opportunity for emerging companies working on artificial intelligence based solutions to gain national and global visibility.

WaveX will organise a dedicated Startup Exhibition Programme at the Summit, where selected startups will be able to present their AI driven products and solutions to a wide audience. According to the IT Ministry, startups working in the AVGC XR segment and those developing AI driven innovations will receive special showcase space and business networking opportunities at the MIB Pavilion during the event.

“The MIB Pavilion will serve as a central hub for showcasing cutting edge and emerging AI technologies in the media and entertainment sector, enabling innovators to engage with policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and global stakeholders, and fostering collaboration across the creative and technology ecosystem,” the ministry said. The Summit will take place from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi and is positioned as a key national platform to promote collaboration across India’s fast growing AI ecosystem.

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is expected to play an important role in strengthening the country’s AI innovation landscape by enabling structured interaction between startups and key stakeholders. WaveX focuses on supporting innovation in media, entertainment, and language technology, and acts as a link between innovators, government bodies, and industry leaders. The Summit has been designed around 3 core goals. These include impact through improved efficiency and productivity, accessibility with a focus on India and the Global South, and safety as India advances as a trusted global partner through sovereign models, safety frameworks, and a strong semiconductor ecosystem.
