Wardwizard Joins Hands with XiCon to Launch 7500 EV Scooters for Green Deliveries

In a step echoing the future of urban transportation, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility has inked a pivotal agreement with XiCon International, a Mumbai-based engineering firm, to lease 7500 electric scooters across four bustling Indian cities. This two-year collaboration will power last-mile delivery operations using Wardwizard’s Wolf Plus electric scooter model.

Spanning the financial years 2025 to 2027, the partnership aims to deploy these eco-friendly two-wheelers in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune, building a greener backbone for the logistics sector. Wardwizard will provide holistic support including maintenance, setting up of service hubs, charging infrastructure, and spare parts management, ensuring uninterrupted fleet performance.

XiCon International, a subsidiary of Kaiser Corporation, traditionally rooted in power and telecom engineering, is stepping into electric mobility as part of its bold diversification journey. XiCon will oversee fleet distribution, team up with delivery platforms, build a dedicated mobile app, and drive brand visibility through targeted campaigns.

“This collaboration marks a milestone in enhancing EV infrastructure for last-mile movement,” shared Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard. Echoing the sentiment, Lyla Mehta, Director of XiCon, emphasized, “We see this as a commitment to sustainable delivery systems that blend innovation with responsibility.”

The agreement also outlines joint training programs for riders, the establishment of co-branded service stations, and the rollout of demo units to support awareness initiatives. While XiCon takes charge of operations, Wardwizard ensures the tech and service excellence behind the wheels.

Listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, Wardwizard is India’s first publicly traded EV manufacturer, known for its Joy e-bike and Joy e-rik brands, currently active in over 400 Indian cities with a versatile lineup of electric models catering to both low-speed and high-speed segments.

With cities grappling with congestion and air pollution, the demand for cleaner last-mile delivery solutions is on the rise. XiCon’s foray into EV mobility mirrors a larger industry shift where legacy firms in engineering are embracing electric innovation to shape a more sustainable tomorrow.
