Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra tipped to launch at higher prices

New leaks suggest that upcoming ultra-flagship smartphones from Vivo and Oppo could arrive with higher price tags compared to competitors. The Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra are expected to be priced above the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

According to a tipster, both devices may cost around CNY 500 (roughly Rs 6,000) more than the Xiaomi 17 Ultra for similar RAM and storage variants. For reference, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra was launched at a starting price of CNY 6,999 (around Rs 90,000) for the 12GB + 512GB model. Based on this, the Vivo X300 Ultra could be priced at approximately CNY 7,500 (around Rs 1,01,000) for the same configuration. Rising storage costs are believed to be a key factor behind the increase.

The Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s are set to launch in China on March 30 at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST). Both smartphones are confirmed to be available in a Green colour option.

In terms of features, the Vivo X300 Ultra will come with a 400mm Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit and a 200MP Sony LYT-901 primary camera sensor. It will also support advanced telephoto zoom capabilities, including a 200mm lens.

The Vivo X300s will include a 7,100mAh battery and a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to feature a Zeiss-tuned 200MP rear camera system.

Both models will support new telephoto zoom modes and will use a new colour processing system called “Blueprint Native Color”.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is also expected to follow a similar pricing trend, positioning itself in the premium flagship segment.
