Vivo’s upcoming flagship is generating strong buzz ahead of its official debut. The Vivo X300 Ultra is set to launch in China on March 30 alongside the Vivo X300s, with new leaks revealing major camera upgrades and performance details.
The device has also surfaced on Geekbench, indicating it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 16GB RAM and running Android 16. It reportedly scored 3,722 in single-core and 11,621 in multi-core tests.
According to recent reports and company disclosures, Vivo is positioning the X300 Ultra as a hybrid between a professional camera and a compact daily-use smartphone, with a strong focus on imaging technology.
Camera highlights:
- “3 + 2” Zeiss lens setup
- 1/1.28-inch Sony Lytia 818 ultrawide sensor
- 200MP primary camera with 1/1.12-inch Sony Lytia 901 sensor
- 200MP periscope telephoto (Samsung HP0) with CIPA 7.0 stabilisation
- Up to 300% improved light intake for telephoto shots
- Zeiss T coating for reduced reflectivity and better clarity
- Enhanced HDR, low-noise processing, and improved dynamic range
The camera system also includes Vivo’s third-generation VCS bionic spectrum technology, designed to improve colour accuracy and image consistency.
Additionally, the device features an upgraded G2 Zeiss teleconverter system. It offers a 200mm focal length in a compact design and can extend up to 400mm, using advanced optical elements for better zoom precision.
The phone is expected to be priced at around CNY 7,500 (approximately ₹1,01,000) for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
With the launch just days away, more official details are expected to be revealed as Vivo expands its X300 series, which already includes the X300 and X300 Pro launched in October 2025.
