Vivo V70 series India launch, pricing and design details surface ahead of debut

Fresh leaks are offering a clearer picture of Vivo’s next premium mid-range smartphones, with new details pointing to an imminent India launch and a competitive pricing strategy.

According to a tipster, the Vivo V70 series is expected to launch in India in mid-February, positioning itself in the premium mid-range segment. The lineup is likely to include the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, while some reports also hint at a possible Vivo V70 FE variant. Ahead of the official announcement, pricing, colour options, design renders, and key specifications have surfaced online.

As per information shared by tipster Yogesh Brar and reported by a publication, the V70 series is expected to be priced under Rs. 55,000 in India. The standard Vivo V70 is tipped to arrive in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, while the Vivo V70 Elite could be offered in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Black. It has not yet confirmed any of these details.

Design renders suggest that the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will share a similar look. Both models are expected to feature a square-shaped rear camera module housing a triple camera setup along with an LED flash. The logo appears vertically aligned on the lower-left side of the rear panel. On the front, the V70 Elite may sport a hole-punch display with slim bezels, while the power and volume buttons are placed on the right edge.

In terms of specifications, both phones are tipped to feature a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo V70 Elite is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the Vivo V70 could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.

Camera hardware may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel Zeiss-tuned telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Battery details have also leaked via an EU Energy Label for a Vivo device believed to be the Vivo V70. It is expected to pack a 6,320mAh battery, likely marketed as 6,500mAh, supporting 55W wired fast charging. The phone may also carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, with the battery rated for 900 charge cycles before dropping to 80% capacity.
