The Vivo V70 series is reportedly in development and is expected to launch in India next month. Amid these reports, the Vivo V70 FE has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, offering early details about its processor and core specifications. The V70 FE is tipped to arrive as the third model in the lineup, alongside the standard Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite.
A tipster spotted the Vivo V70 FE on the Geekbench website with the model number V2550. The listing shows an OpenCL score of 2507. It confirms the presence of an eight core CPU with a base frequency of 2.00GHz and a peak frequency of 2.50GHz. The device is also listed with a Mali G615 MC2 GPU. These specifications point to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor.
The Geekbench entry further suggests that the Vivo V70 FE could run on Android 16 and feature 7.25GB of RAM, which is likely to be marketed as 8GB. The phone may also launch in additional memory variants, with more details expected in the coming weeks.
Vivo has not officially confirmed any information about the V70 series yet. However, recent reports indicate that the lineup could be introduced in the Indian market by mid February. Along with the V70 FE, the series is expected to include the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite. These two models are tipped to use Qualcomm processors and feature Sony camera sensors with Zeiss optics.
The Vivo V70 FE is said to launch at a later date than its siblings. As per current rumours, the Vivo V70 may come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Vivo V70 Elite could feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. If the V70 FE indeed launches with a MediaTek chip, it would mark a clear difference from the other models in the series.
All three smartphones are expected to ship with Android 16 based Origin OS 6 out of the box. The upcoming lineup will succeed the Vivo V60 series.
