Vivo V60 5G Set to Launch in India on 12 August: Full Specs and Expected Price Range

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of its V60 5G smartphone in India, scheduled for 12 August at 12 noon. The upcoming device will succeed the Vivo V50, which was introduced earlier this year. Known for its photography-focused features, the Vivo V60 aims to deliver significant upgrades across design, performance, and camera capabilities.

The Vivo V60 5G will be available in three colour options: Mist Gray, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold. The phone will feature a sleek design with a curved back and a pill-shaped rear camera module, which prominently displays the ZEISS branding. A circular ring placed beside the camera island is expected to be the Aura Light, previously seen in earlier models.

In terms of durability, the V60 5G boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. For display, it is confirmed to include a quad-curved screen. The smartphone marks a significant performance leap with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, replacing the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 used in the last three generations. It will support up to 12GB of RAM and run on FunTouchOS 15 based on Android 15.

Powering the device is a large 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging. Camera specifications include a triple rear camera system featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front will house a 50MP selfie camera with a wide 92-degree field of view.

Leaked specifications suggest the Vivo V60 may come with a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits peak brightness in High Brightness Mode. Storage could include LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage.

As per early estimates, the Vivo V60 is expected to be priced between ₹35,000 and ₹45,000, similar to its predecessor.
